Fisk was born in Hastings, New York,
admitted to the Oneida Conference of the Methodist Church in 1855, later transferred to the Northern
New York Conference. The diary of Fisk, as deacon, records travels, preaching texts, and work on the
Northern Christian advocate. Also contains comments on families and individuals in his care and circle
of acquaintance.
